Miss Lynden Rodeo winner announced

LYNDEN - Hilary Zender, 20, of Bellingham, was crowned Miss Lynden Rodeo on Saturday, Jan. 24, during the 2009 Miss Lynden Rodeo Pageant.
The pageant took place on the Northwest Washington Fairgrounds in Lynden and included personal interviews and a horsemanship competition.
Zender is a graduate of Mount Baker High School and currently attends Whatcom Community College.

Among her winnings, Zender was given a custom crown and belt buckle, a sash, a $300 scholarship and a $100 gas card.
