BELLINGHAM - Gas prices have crept up the last month, raising the average price for a gallon of unleaded to $2.04 Monday, Jan. 12, according to AAA.
That's up nearly 30 cents from a month ago but far below the record $4.50 a gallon set in June. A year ago, the price was $3.29.
Bellingham has the highest gas prices in the state, from the regions AAA tracks, but is within about a cent a gallon of Olympia and Seattle.
The cheapest gas is in Spokane, averaging $1.60 a gallon.
