Expect heavy traffic crossing the border Tuesday, Nov. 11, as Canadians observe Remembrance Day and Americans observe Veterans Day.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection anticipates heavier than usual Tuesday traffic as many people have the day off from work and will travel.

The border is busiest between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Construction continues at the Peace Arch entry in Blaine, so people might want to use the Pacific Highway, Lynden or Sumas crossings.
