Workshops for culminating projects offered

BELLINGHAM - Whatcom Volunteer Center is offering a workshop for high school seniors who are incorporating volunteering and their families into their culminating projects.
The workshop, which also is designed for parents of students, will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at the center, 725 N. State St.
The cost is $10 per family. Scholarships are available.
Advance registration is required and can be made by calling Whatcom Volunteer Center at 734-3055 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
