BELLINGHAM - Got household items you don't need anymore? Any documents that need shredding? What about any junk or canned food you don't need anymore?
If so, bring it all down to the Coldwell Banker Miller-Arnason office on Meridian Street Saturday, Sept. 27. A-1 Shredding and 1-800-GOT-JUNK? will be there to assist you.
The companies are collecting useable household items, like light bulbs, bedroom tables, women's clothing and strollers, for United Way partner agencies, food for the Bellingham Food Bank, and cash donations for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Washington.
A-1 Shredding will provide shredding services on site for $8 per banker's box of personal papers. If you donate non-perishable food, they'll shred your documents for $5.
The event is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 3610 Meridian St.
