VANCOUVER, B.C. - Before the 2008 Summer Olympics begin in China, it's time to start thinking about the 2010 Games in Vancouver, B.C., and saving money if you plan to go.
Tickets for Winter Games go on sale Oct. 3.
Full hourly schedules of events throughout the 17 days of competition have been released, so people can plan what and when they want to attend.
The Opening Ceremony of the XXI Olympic Winter Games is set for 6 p.m. Feb. 12, 2010, at BC Place. The final event will be the men's gold medal hockey game at 12:15 p.m. Feb. 28 at General Motors Palace. Closing ceremonies follow that day at 5:30 p.m. at BC Place.
Schedules also were released for the Paralympic Winter Games, which begin March 13, 2010.
