SUDDEN VALLEY — Investigators are awaiting autopsy results to determine if a Sudden Valley man died Saturday, July 19, from a medical problem or a subsequent vehicle crash.

Thomas A. Frank, 62, was driving west on Marigold Drive near the Sudden Valley Golf Course about 8 a.m. when his 1998 Ford pickup went off the road and struck a tree, according to Washington State Patrol.

Frank, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at St. Joseph Hospital, according to WSP.

Investigators suspect Frank suffered a heart attack or similar medical problem, which led him to lose control of the pickup.
