BELLINGHAM — Western Washington University recently created a new administration position: the director of Space Administration and Management.
Francis Halle, of Vancouver, B.C., was appointed to the position by the provost. Halle, who was most recently the regional manager of facilities development for the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, will start Aug. 4.
Halle’s new position falls under the control of the provost. Halle will be required to work with all WWU departments to develop and coordinate the use of state-funded facilities. Halle also will be responsible for coordinating the relocation of offices and departments during construction, and for helping with capital project plans.
