Bellingham Police officers arrested two men on suspicion of multiple counts of residential burglary late Friday.
Kevin Francis Dorn, 25, Bellingham, and Ryan Matthew Tolliver, 22, Deming, are both charged with seven counts of residential burglary, according to a Bellingham Police Department press release.
Tolliver, who had three outstanding warrants for theft and possession of stolen property, is also charged with one count of attempted residential burglary, the press release said.
Both men were booked into Whatcom County Jail.
Dorn was contacted by patrol officers as he allegedly attempted to pawn a stolen laptop computer at Checkmate Pawn, 3016 Northwest Ave., the press release said.
Soon after contacting Dorn, officers located Tolliver at a local motel, the press release said.
Dorn and Tolliver, who have extensive criminal histories, are believed to be connected to a recent burglary spree in Bellingham, including burglaries in the Alabama Hill, Yew Street and McLeod Road areas, the press release said.
