Animals as Natural Therapy, a Bellingham-based nonprofit agency, is having its 10th annual Poker Ride and Chili Feed fundraiser Saturday.

Proceeds will go to scholarships for low-income children and families seeking help from Animals as Natural Therapy and to the care of the group’s 11 horses.

The eight-mile ride lasts about two and half hours. A $10 entry fee is charged for each rider and $5 for additional poker hands.

Participants will meet at 10 a.m. at the Les Hilde Trailhead in Skagit County’s Harry Osborne Forest for registration and snacks.

Chili, cornbread, cookies and drinks will be offered from noon to 2:30 p.m.

For more information visit www.animalsasnaturaltherapy.org or call 671-3509.
