Dec. 6 'Cold Case' episode written by Bellingham native

An episode of the TV series "Cold Case" that was written by Bellingham native Jerome Schwartz is scheduled to air at 10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, on CBS.

The episode, "Forensics," is about the murder of a high school debater.

A 1999 graduate of Sehome High School, Schwartz is the son of Harvey and Colleen Schwartz of Bellingham.

He graduated from Whitman College in Walla Walla after studying English literature and theater, then worked at a film production company in Portland, Ore., before moving to Los Angeles two years ago to pursue a career in scriptwriting. "Forensics" is Schwartz's first TV script to be aired.
