LYNDEN - A Mount Vernon woman was arrested at the Lynden border crossing Monday, Nov. 23, on suspicion of attempting to smuggle about 1,200 Ecstasy pills into the United States from Canada.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents questioned Sadie Villars, 20, as she attempted to cross the border.

During the questioning, she became nervous and changed her story about the contents of a bag, according to CBP.

The agents searched her and found pills concealed in bags underneath her clothing, according to CBP.
