BELLINGHAM - Several Bellingham streets will have flaggers and lane closures Monday, Nov. 23, through Wednesday, Nov. 25, during construction work.

Crews will be adding pedestrian improvements at Maplewood Avenue at Northwest Avenue; Lakeway Drive at Grant Street; Maple Street at Newell Street; Alabama Street at Grant Street; and York Street at Railroad Avenue.

On Fraser Street, crews will be working on pedestrian and landscape improvements, while on North Forest Street crews will continue to install a water main north of Holly Street to Ellis Street.

Traffic delays also are expected during construction of pedestrian improvements and a roundabout at the freeway on-ramp at Northwest Avenue, and during clearing and grading for a storm drain on Northwest Drive between Sterling Drive and Bakerview Road.
