Appointments for the six H1N1 vaccination clinics announced last week were fully booked by Tuesday, Nov. 17.
A total of 960 doses were available for the clinics. Appointments were made all day Monday, with the last available slots filling up just before 11 a.m. Tuesday, said Joe Bates, spokesman for the Whatcom Pandemic Joint Information Center.
Vaccine supplies have been limited and clinics have only been open to people considered at high risk for contracting the H1N1 flu.
As production of the vaccine increases, local health officials anticipate that there will be enough for everyone.
