BELLINGHAM - City planners will give a presentation Thursday, Nov. 12, on a project to list three areas of Bellingham as national historic districts.
The three proposed districts are in the York, South Hill and Lettered Streets neighborhoods. The effort to get them listed on the national register, which began with a $150,000 federal grant in 2007, is nearing its final steps.
Multiple agencies and residents worked on the project, which included surveying historical buildings. The information is on the city's Web site, cob.org.
Katie Franks and Kate Newell, both from the city's planning department, will give a presentation at 7:30 p.m. in the Whatcom Museum Rotunda Room, 121 Prospect St.
