Phone appointments available Saturday for energy grants

BELLINGHAM - The Opportunity Council will book appointments on Saturday, Nov. 7, for Whatcom County residents who need help paying their natural gas, electricity and heating bills.
People can call 255-2192 or (888) 586-7293 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for an appointment for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, which provides grants.
Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
