The Lummi Island ferry will not be in service from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, while crews complete necessary maintenance to the Lummi Island and Gooseberry Point approach spans.

The last run from the Gooseberry Point side is scheduled to leave at 10:10 a.m., and the last run from the Lummi Island side is set to leave at 10:20 a.m., said Whatcom County Public Works Director Frank Abart.

The scheduled work is weather dependent, so the times and date may be changed if necessary, Abart said.
