Miss Whatcom pageant to hold auditions

Local women interested in claiming the title of Miss Whatcom County will start their journey this week.

Auditions for the pageant will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, by appointment.

Those interested in setting an appointment should call Carol Starcher at 201-8981. Applications are available online at misswhatcomcounty.com and should be brought to the interviews, as well as music for a talent presentation. Information about the competition and eligibility are also available online.

The pageant will be held March 13 at Whatcom Community College.
