U.S. Rep. Larsen to hold telephone town hall on health care legislation

U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen, D-Everett, is inviting the public to participate in a "'telephone town hall" on health care reform on Monday, Nov. 2.

Larsen represents the 2nd Congressional District, which includes the five northwest Washington counties, including Whatcom County.

The 6:30 p.m. call will discuss a Democratic health care bill introduced in the House of Representatives on Thursday, Oct. 29.

In July, Larsen held an hour-long telephone event on health care that about 3,500 people listened to. Residents can participate by calling (877) 269-7289 and using code 13740.
