Blaine School District seeks input on long range planning

BLAINE - Blaine School District and its board members are seeking community involvement in planning for the future.

The board will create a long-range plan this school year to help guide program and facility goals. Community members, students and teachers are invited to three public meetings to share their comments about what the district should focus on over the next five years.

The meetings are all 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at:

• Wednesday, Nov. 4: the district office, 765 H St.

• Tuesday, Nov. 17, Point Roberts Community Center, 1487 Gulf Road.

• Tuesday, Dec. 1 in Birch Bay Village for residents and their guests.

Information from the meetings will be put a report that will go before the board in March. Details: 332-5881.
