BELLINGHAM - The public is invited to a free forum addressing the merits of the Electoral College versus the national popular vote in determining the U.S. president.
The League of Women Voters of Bellingham/Whatcom County event takes place from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Bellingham Public Library's basement meeting room, 210 Central Ave.
Panelists include Western Washington University professors Todd Donovan and Sara Weir, and Trent England from the Evergreen Freedom Foundation.
The event is cosponsored by the Whatcom County Republican Party, the Whatcom County Democratic Party and the Whatcom County Libertarian Party.
