Larsen to talk with Bellingham veterans

U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen will host a conversation with veterans from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, in Bellingham.

Larsen, D-Everett, will update veterans about the work being done in Congress on their behalf and hear from local veterans about what issues are important to them.

He will be joined by local experts on veterans' health care, employment and benefits who will help answer questions and provide further information about available services.

The Bellingham conversation will take place at the American Legion Post No. 7, 1688 W. Bakerview Road.

This is one of five conversations with veterans Larsen is hosting in five Washington counties during August.
